Terms of Use

These terms apply whenever you access Bosque County Criminal History. Using the site means that you accept them. Stop using the service if you do not agree with any term.

Important. Bosque County Criminal History is a private reference, not a government agency or consumer reporting agency. Its content cannot be used for a purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

1. What This Website Is

The site organizes public information about Bosque County, Texas criminal-record offices and related state systems. It does not create, certify, change, or store government criminal records, and it has no affiliation with Bosque County or Texas government.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree to use the service lawfully and without interfering with others. You must not:

  • violate a federal, Texas, or local law
  • stalk, threaten, harass, or intimidate another person
  • use content for any FCRA-regulated credit, employment, housing, or insurance decision
  • seek unauthorized access to systems or data
  • run bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the pages
  • disrupt site performance or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked source may not be used to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate. Texas Public Sex Offender Registry data exists for public safety. Misuse against a registrant can violate Texas law, including restrictions tied to Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Neither this site nor its content is a consumer report under the FCRA. It does not produce an official check and cannot be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, licenses, benefits, or another regulated purpose. When law requires an official or compliant check, use Texas DPS or an authorized FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

Descriptions of Bosque County procedure and Texas law are general information. They do not create an attorney-client relationship or answer how a charge, warrant, expunction, or nondisclosure rule applies to a specific person.

6. No Warranties

The site and its content are offered “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is complete, accurate, current, secure, error-free, or continuously available. Search-partner results may also be incomplete or mismatched. Confirm every material fact with the official custodian.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Government portals, legal resources, and outside search tools operate under their own rules. Bosque County Criminal History is not responsible for their content, prices, availability, privacy, security, or results. Review a third party's terms before using it.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless another owner is identified, site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Bosque County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, redistributed, modified, or used to create another work without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Texas law, the site and its operators are not liable for losses or damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of any linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, costs, and demands arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms, including reasonable legal expenses.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute connected with the site must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in the State of Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised. A new version takes effect when it is posted, and later use means acceptance of that version.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or ended at any time, with or without notice, including when use threatens the site, violates these terms, or harms others.

14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited only as needed. All remaining provisions continue in effect.

15. Questions

General questions about these terms may be routed through the Contact page.
